Results for April 17 - April 18

Henniker Mellen Survey Bantam A 2 - Beverly 1
Fourth Place ranked Henniker Huskies Mellen Survey Bantam A Team surprised first place Beverly in the Valley League semi-finals with two first period goals. Kevin Ray popped the first one in with an assist from assistant captain, Matt Lennon, and captain, Noah Mellen, secured the win with assists by Jacob Noyes and Jeff Cann. Mellen Survey's strong team play held Beverly to one second period goal.

Henniker Mellen Survey Bantam A 1 - Medford 3
In the finals against Medford, Mellen Survey's Stephen Case netted the game's first goal with an assist from Jacob Noyes. Excellent team work by all, great defense by Max Murray and Kaleb Allen, and solid goaltending by Carson McDonough, held onto the lead until the beginning of the third period. They were ultimately defeated by the Medford's deeper bench as Medford scored three more times, the last one against an open net as the Henniker Huskies pulled their goalie and tried to regain the lead.

Henniker ARCOMM Communication Squirt A 4 - NH Junior Bruins 5
The ARCOMM Communication Henniker Huskies finished their season with one of the best and most exciting games of the year. In the first round of the Valley League playoffs, the ARCOMM Communication Henniker Huskies faced the NH Junior Bruins. Despite being outnumbered by their opponents, the Huskies skated with grit and determination the entire game. Unfortunately the Huskies came up just short as the 4 to 5 overtime loss. The Huskies scoring was provided by Shane Earley (2), Saer Murray, and Will Callif. The assists were provided by Henry Gledinning (2), Will Callif, and Sam Tucker.

Henniker Mellen Survey Bantam A 2 - Medford 5
Henniker Youth Hockey's Mellen Survey Bantam A Team lost in a well fought game against Medford by a score of 2-5. Both goals and assists were by Kevin Ray and Kaleb Allen. Max Murray was strong on defense and Carson McDonough was solid in the net.

Hillsboro Ford Lady Huskies 6 - Lady Monarchs 4
The Hillsboro Ford Lady Huskies U-14 finished up there regular season with a 6-4 win against the Lady Monarchs. Morgan Seney earned a hat trick, Kelsey Muller scored two goals, and Glenna LeDoux got the empty netter from the blue line to secure the victory. Megan McCosh and Katie Woods shared time in the net.

Henniker ARCOMM Communication Squirt A 6 - North Reading 2
The ARCOMM Communication Henniker Huskies Squirt A Team spread the scoring around in an exciting 6 to 2 win over North Reading. Hunter Joseph scored two goals and added one assist. Sam Tucker scored on a shot from the point and provided an assist. Henry Glendinning, Nathan Philbrick, and Alex Houle each added goals of their own. Will Callif and Saer Murray assisted on two goals each. Game pucks went to Hunter Joseph and Sam Tucker for their outstanding performance.

Henniker ARCOMM Communication Squirt A 1 - Billerica 6
The ARCOMM Communication Henniker Huskies Squirt A Team fell to Billerica by a score of 6 to 1. Hunter Joseph provided the lone goal for the Huskies. Hunter earned the game puck for his strong offensive efforts in the loss.

Henniker Mellen Survey Bantam A 6 - Andover 1
The Henniker Huskies Mellen Survey Bantam A Team beat Andover Saturday by a score of 6-1. Goals were scored by Stephen Case, Noah Mellen, Zach Roever, and Danny Fougere. Assists were by Mellen, Jeff Cann, Billy Milsop, and Kevin Ray.

Henniker Mellen Survey Bantam A 2 - Andover 3
The Henniker Huskies Mellen Survey Bantam A Team lost by a score of 2-3 to Andover Sunday. Both goals were by Kaleb Allen. Carson McDonough played a solid game in net with almost 30 saves.

Results for March 13 - March 14

Hillsboro Ford Lady Huskies - U-14 Tier II State Tournament
Over the weekend, The Hillsboro Ford Lady Huskies competed in the U-14 Tier II State Tournament in Henniker. In game one, with only seven players, the Huskies were defeated by Top seed, SeaCoast by a score of 3-1. Megan McCosh was outstanding in net for the Huskies, while the one goal was scored by Kelsey Muller, assisted by Morgan Seney.

The Lady Huskies played another close game to Dover in game two, losing 4-3. Kelsey Muller had the hat trick. Morgan Seney and Kyleigh Joseph each had an assist. With a 4-3 win against Lebanon in game three, the Lady Huskies placed third in the tournament. Kyleigh Jospeh had her first hat trick, including the game winner, with assists from Brianna Blaine and Kelsey Muller. Morgan Seney also had one goal and two assists.

The Lady Huskies lost 5-1 to Lebanon in the final game. Morgan Seney put the Huskies on the board with an assist from Kelsey Muller.

Great play throughout the weekend by, goalie Megan McCosh, Annele Jones, Glenna Ledoux and Hillari Naeck on defense, and forwards Kelsey Muller, Morgan Seney, Kyleigh Joseph, Brianna Blaine and Zile Jones.

Results for March 6 - March 7

Henniker North Branch Construction Squirt B 10 - Tri-Town House Squirt Blue Devils 3
The North Branch Construction Henniker Huskies Squirt B team played the Tri-Town House Squirt Blue Devils and won a hard fought game 10-3. Nate Kimball-Barr played a great game in net for the Huskies, making some truly spectacular saves. Sean Marchand & David Bradley put together a strong offensive push, challenging the Tri-Town goalie, each scoring multiple goals. Jim Larson & Thomas Palangas also had strong games for the Huskies making some key defensive plays. Jordan Vogt had a great shot from the point on defense for a goal. Camaron Carter & Robert Wimpory both played a physical and tight defensive game on offense at the Center position.The North Branch Construction Henniker Huskies Squirt B team will play in the Granite State League Tier 5 Squirt tournament at Campion Arena in Hanover, NH this coming weekend.

Henniker ARCOMM Communication Squirt A 2 - North Reading 8
The ARCOMM Communication Henniker Huskies Squirt A Team fell to North Reading by a score of 8 to 2. Shane Earley and Nathan Philbrick both scored for the Huskies on assists by Will Callif and Cam Carter.

Henniker ARCOMM Communication Squirt A 0 - Wilmington 1
The ARCOMM Communication Henniker Huskies Squirt A Team played one of their strongest and most exciting games of the season against Wilmington. The defense and goaltending for both clubs were outstanding as they held the game scoreless until 1:01 left in the third period when Wilmington snuck the puck past Parker Wheeler on the high glove side to seal the 1-0 win. The Wilmington goaltender stopped all 12 of the Huskies shots, as Parker Wheeler stopped 18 of 19. Henry Glendinning, Sam Tucker, and Parker Wheeler each earned game pucks for their outstanding defensive effort.

Henniker Mellen Survey Bantam A 2 - Beverly 5
Henniker's Mellen Survey Bantam A team lost a rough game to Beverly by a score of 2-5. Matt Lennon and Joseph Getts scored with assists from Stephen Case, Kaleb Allen, and Lennon. Carson McDonough was solid in the net with over 35 saves.

Hillsboro Ford Lady Huskies U-14 1 - Hanover, VT U16 0
The Hillsboro Ford Lady Huskies U-14 triumphed over the Hanover, VT U16 team over the weekend by a score of 1-0. Morgan Seney scored the winnning goal for the Huskies, unassisted. Only six skaters made the trip to Vermont for the Huskies and Megan McCosh was in net for the shut out.

The Henniker Youth Hockey Initiation Teams, sponsored by Lake Sunapee Bank, TDS Telecom, Henniker Motors and Danny's Automotive, continue to improve their hockey skills by practicing a number of drills and scrimmaging each other every weekend.

Henniker ARCOMM Communication Squirt A 3 - Lebanon 3
The American Guardian Septic Henniker Mite A team tied Lebanon 3-3 in the first round of the Granite State Mite Tournament. Keith Galli completed a hat trick in the final two minutes to tie the game. Henniker then went on to beat Lakes Region 3-0 to advance to the semi finals. Garrett Thomas scored the game winner against Lakes Region with Alex Von Svoboda and Keith Galli also getting goals. Jacob Cordeiro was outstanding in the net to earn the shutout.

Henniker ARCOMM Communication Squirt A 4 - Rochester 5
In semi final action the Henniker Mite A team battled back and forth with Rochester. Keith Galli scored another hat trick to tie the game 3-3. Rochester came back late in the third period to go ahead 4-3. Shayne Cashin scored with five seconds left to put the game into overtime. In the second of two overtime periods, Henniker fell to the eventual State Camps Rochester 5-4.

Henniker Edmunds Ace Hardware Mite B Red 6 - Henniker Osram Sylvania Mite B White 7
The Edmunds Ace Hardware Henniker Mite B Red team played the Osram Sylvania Henniker Mite B White Team and succumbed, 7-6, with only 40 seconds left. Colton McAllister and Johnny Goldrick both had big games-each scored a hat trick. Kyle Kolehmainen played perfectly as goaltender. Alex Olson made some good plays for the Huskies.

Henniker ARCOMM Communication Squirt A 2 - Winchester 1
After being decimated by injuries and school vacations, the ARCOMM Communication Henniker Huskies called up two Squirt B members to round out the team. The assistance of Cam Carter and Thomas Palangas proved very important as the Huskies rotated only eight skaters against Winchester. Shane Earley provided a goal with an assist by Cam Carter in the first period. Winchester tied up the game in the second period. Alex Houle provided the game winner late in the third period with an assist from Shane Earley as Parker Wheeler stopped 26 of Winchester's 27 shots on net.

Henniker's Mellen Survey Bantam A Team lost 2-6 against Winchester with goals by Stephen Case and Kevin Ray. Matt Lennon and Ray both had assists.

Henniker Mellen Survey Bantam A 6 - Beverly Warriors 7
Despite strong team play, Henniker's Mellen Survey Bantam A Team lost a nail biter against the Beverly Warriors by a score of 7-6. Stephen Case had a hat trick with 4 goals and Kevin Ray had 2. Jacob Noyes was the playmaker with 3 assists. Other assists included Lennon, Joseph Getts, Zach Roever, Max "Jambalaya" Murray (2), Noah Mellen, and Danny Fougere.

Henniker Hillsboro Ford Lady Huskies 3 - North Star Vipers 4
The Henniker Ford Lady Huskies lost to the North Star Vipers in U-14 Baystate League Playoffs by a score of 4-3. Morgan Seney had two goals and Kelsey Muller added a goal and an assist. Kyleigh Joseph and Brianna Blaine also had assists in the scoring. Megan McCosh played a strong game in net.

Henniker Hillsboro Ford Lady Huskies 0 - Seacoast Lighting 2
The Henniker Ford Lady Huskies lost 2-0 in Granite State League play against the Seacoast Lighting Black. Molly Blaine, Annele Jones, Lori Baldeserra and Cara Mulcahey played well defensively.

Henniker Edmunds Ace Hardware Mite B Red 7 - Concord 7
The Edmunds Ace Hardware Henniker Mite B Red team skated to a 7-7 tie with Concord. It was an exciting game with plenty of action. Dylan Schlange scored four goals, Tyler Raczkowski, Luke Shiels and Johnny Philbrick also found the net. Colton McAllister and Tyler Raczkowski worked tirelessly at both ends of the ice. "Dancing" Kenny Thomas played his first game as goalie.

Henniker American Guardian Septic Mite A 3 - Concord 3
The American Guardian Septic Henniker Mite A team tied Concord 3-3. Concord jumped out to an early lead in the first period. Henniker came right back with Garrett Thomas, Luke Sheils, and Dylan Schlange all scoring in the first period. Concord chipped away at the 2-goal deficit to tie the game. Goalie Jacob Cordeiro made several key saves to keep Concord from the win.

Henniker American Guardian Septic Mite A 2 - Lebanon 1
After a scoreless first period Shayne Cashin scored in the second to put the Henniker American Guardian Septic Mite A team on the score board. Luke Sheils assisted on the goal. Lebanon battled back to tie the game. Cory Kasiaras went to the five hole on a pass from Kendra Barrasso to score the game winning goal as Henniker defeated Lebanon 2-1. Jacob Cordeiro was outstanding in goal.

Results for February 7 - February 8

After weeks of preparation, the Henniker Youth Hockey Initiation Teams sponsored by Danny's Automotive, Henniker Motors, Lake Sunapee Bank and TDS/Telecom faced off for the first time. In an action packed three periods of play the Yellow Team came out on top over the Red Team by a score of 6-4. A fun time was had by all.

Henniker Edmunds Ace Hardware Mite B Red 6 - Concord 11
The Edmunds Ace Hardware Henniker Mite B Red team played Concord and lost 11-6. Though the team was a little sluggish in the first period, they played well the rest of the game and made Concord fight for the win. Johnny Goldrick displayed a hat trick, Zack Storro scored twice and Kyle Kohlemainen added one goal. Gianna Pezzulo played in net for the Huskies.

Henniker American Guardian Septic Mite A 4 - Rochester 1
The American Guardian Septic Henniker Mite A team beat Rochester 4-1. Defensemen Shayne Cashin started things off scoring on a rush from Henniker's end. Garrett Thomas scored next on a one timer off a feed from Garrett Houghton. Alex Von Svoboda and Keith Galli added the third and fourth goals. Jacob Corderio played superbly in the goal.

Henniker American Guardian Septic Mite A 5 - NH Jr. Monarchs 3
Garrett Thomas scored two goals to help the American Guardian Septic Henniker Mite A team defeat the NH Jr. Monarchs. Zach Storro and Keith Galli scored the first two goals for Henniker before the Monarchs scored a goal. Thomas's two goals and a goal by Shayne Cashin put Henniker ahead 5-1. The Monarchs worked hard to come back and added two goals for a final score of 5-3.

Henniker North Branch Construction Squirt B 0 - White Mountain Avalanche 7
The Henniker North Branch Construction Squirt B team played the White Mountain Avalanche and lost a hard fought game, 7-0. Nate Kimball-Barr played a great game in net for the Huskies making 17 key saves. Brett Fouliard & Mason Ellis put together a strong offensive push challenging the Hanover goalie. Jordan Vogt & Anthony Pezzulo also had a strong game for the huskies making some key defensive plays. Simon Hunter moved the puck well and had a couple of good shots on the Avalanche goaltender. Zack Edge played a physical game as did Gunnar Mose & Robert Wimpory

Henniker ARCOMM Communication Squirt A 3 - Methuen 0
The ARCOMM Communication Henniker Huskies Squirt A Team scored one goal in each period as they held Methuen scoreless in a 3-0 shutout. The Huskies tallied 31 shots on goal in a very strong offensive show. The Huskies defense held Methuen to only 9 shots on goal. Henry Glendinning, Alex Houle, and Will Callif each scored for the Huskies. Will Callif was also credited with an assist. Saer Murray and Henry Glendinning each earned a game puck for their tireless work on the offensive boards.

Henniker ARCOMM Communication Squirt A 3 - Salem 6
The ARCOMM Communication Henniker Huskies Squirt A Team played well, but fell victim to a strong Salem team as they were out shot 35 to 10. The Huskies made several of their shots count as they tallied 3 goals in their 6-3 loss. Shane Earley scored twice unassisted and Nathan Philbrick scored once on an assist from Aidan Donovan. Aidan Donovan earned the game puck for his outstanding defensive play.

Henniker Hillsboro Ford Lady Huskies 7 - PVA 2
The Henniker Ford Lady Huskies swept the weekend in U-14 Baystate League action. Beating PVA in Vermont by a score of 7-2, Henniker provided strong offense. Kelsey Muller, Kayleigh Costello and Morgan Seney scored two goals apiece, while Kyleigh Joseph added one more. Megan McCosh was strong in net.

Henniker Hillsboro Ford Lady Huskies 4 - Lady Monarch Squirt B 1
Henniker Ford Lady Huskies U-14 beat the Lady Monarch Squirt B by score of 4-1. Morgan Seney had two goals and two assists and Kelsey Muller had two goals and an assist. Brianna Blaine had three assists, while Molly Blaine, Annele Jones, and Zile Jones played well on defense.

Henniker Hillsboro Ford Lady Huskies 1 - Cape Cod 6
The Henniker Ford Lady Huskies U-14 defeated the Cape Cod Squirts by a score of 6-1. Morgan Seney scored five goals with assists from Ary Davis, Kelsey Muller and Brianna Blaine. Zile Jones assisted Kyleigh Jospeh for the final tally. Annele Jones, Hillari Naeck and Glenna LeDoux provided strong defense.

Henniker American Guardian Septic Mite A 0 - NH Avalanche 3
After a scoreless first period the American Guardian Septic Henniker Mite A team fell behind in the second period and lost to the NH Avalanche 3-0. Center Corey Kasiaras played well on offense. Kenda Barrasso and Hunter Goss provided a strong defense. Goalie Jacob Coderio put in a great effort in net.

Henniker American Guardian Septic Mite A 9 - White Mountain 1
Alex Von Svoboda scored a hat trick to lead the AGS Henniker Mite A team to a 9-1 win over White Mountain. Keith Galli had two goals. Luke Sheils, Hunter Goss, Daniel Medvetz and Dylan Schlange scored a goal each.

Henniker ARCOMM Communication Squirt A 4 - Winchester 1
The ARCOMM Communication Henniker Huskies Squirt A team made the icy trip to Lawrence to face off against Winchester. The Huskies had their best offensive showing to date against Winchester team, outshooting them 29 to 15. Shane Earley and Nathan Philbrick each scored for the Huskies as Alex Houle, Shane Earley, and Luke Roever provided the assists. The game puck went to Sam Tucker for his inspiring defense in the Huskies 4 to 1 win.

Henniker ARCOMM Communication Squirt A 0 - Kearsarge 10
The ARCOMM Communication Henniker Huskies Squirt A team traveled from Lawrence to Proctor Academy to face Kearsarge for their second game of the day. The tired Huskies were handed a lopsided 10 to 0 loss by the much stronger Kearsarge team, as they were out shot 37 to 4.

Henniker ARCOMM Communication Squirt A 2 - Winchester 2
The ARCOMM Communication Henniker Huskies Squirt A team played Winchester for the second time at Saint Anselm's. The Huskies skated to a 2 to 2 tie against Winchester. The Huskies offense was provided by two goals by Will Callif. Will Callif and Henry Glendinning each received game pucks for their strong offensive performance.

Henniker American Guardian Septic Mite A 5 - Lakes Region 1
The voice of Henniker Hockey, Randy Wheeler, had the home crowd rocking as the American Guardian Septic Henniker Mite A team beat Lakes Region 5-1. Garrett Thomas started things off with a goal on a pass from Keith Galli. A hard charging Alex Von Svoboda then connected on a breakaway for a goal. Lakes Region came back to put the score at 2-1, but it was all Henniker after that as Galli scored and Dylan Schlange connected for two goals. Shayne Cashin and Daniel Medvetz provided a strong defensive effort for Henniker.

Henniker Ford Lady Huskies 1 - Seacoast Lightening Black 2
The Henniker Ford Lady Huskies lost a tight game against Seacoast Lightening Black. Goalies Megan McCosh and Katy Woods shared time between the pipes for a 2-1 final. Kayleigh Costello scored the lone goal for the Huskies.

Henniker American Guardian Septic Mite A 6 - Keene 1
The American Guardian Septic Henniker Mite A team defeated Keene 6-1. After a scoreless first period Garrett Houghton connected for a goal and later added two assists. Keith Galli had two goals with Kenda Barrasso, Alex Von Svoboda, and Garrett Thomas each scored a goal. Hunter Goss played well on defense.

Henniker American Guardian Septic Mite A 2 - Concord 3
The American Guardian Septic Henniker Mite A team battled with Concord in a hard fought, back and forth match. Henniker's Keith Galli scored early in the second period on a superb feed from Shayne Cashin. Concord came back to tie the score and went ahead at the end of the second period. In the third period Cashin again got it to Galli who scored to tie the game. Concord scored at the end of the third to beat Henniker 3-2.

Henniker Edmund's Ace Hardware Mite B Red 2 - Somersworth-Berwick 4
The Edmund's Ace Hardware Henniker Huskies Mite B Red team played a very exciting game against Somersworth-Berwick. The game was tied 2-2 at the end of the second. The Somersworth team fought hard to keep the pressure on Cooper Bourque in Henniker's goal. Kenny Thomas scored for Henniker, as did Tyler Raczkowski, unfortunately that wasn't enough as Somersworth won 4-2.

Henniker Edmund's Ace Hardware Mite B Red - Kearsarge
The Edmund's Ace Hardware Henniker Mite B Red team emerged victorious over a young, but talented Kearsarge team. Sportsmanship was the name of this game. Alex Olson and Gianna Pezzulo scored their first goals of the season and numerous assists showed the coaches how unselfish their team is.

Henniker Osram Sylvania Mite B White 4 - PVA 3
The Henniker Huskies Mite B White team took their second win of the season against PVA this weekend 4-3. Jenna and Leah Rheault each had a goal in the game. Daniel Egner scored his third goal of the season. Cameron Montebianchi had his first goal of the season. Great goaltending was turned out by Alex Miller, who had great stops to keep the Huskies in the game.

Henniker ARCOMM Communication Squirt A 1 - Hollis 4
The ARCOMM Communication Henniker Huskies faced off against Hollis in an early Saturday morning game. Shane Earley provided the only score for the Huskies. Despite a strong game from Nick Kasiaras and Saer Murray, the Huskies fell to Hollis 4 to 1.

Henniker ARCOMM Communication Squirt A 0 - Laconia Lakers 8
The ARCOMM Communication Henniker Huskies faced a very strong Laconia Lakers team in Laconia on Sunday. Will Callif, Luke Roever, and Sam Tucker played well against the tough Laker team. The Huskies were out shot 39 to 4 as the Lakers earned a 8 to 0 shutout.

Henniker Mellen Survey Bantam A 3 - NH Jr Monarchs 9
Henniker's Mellen Survey Bantam A Team lost to the NH Jr Monarchs 9-3. Jacob Noyes scored first, followed by two goals by Noah Mellen. Evan Stenberg, Max Murray, Stephen Case, and Kaleb Allen all had assists.

Henniker Mellen Survey Bantam A 4 - Winchester 7
The Mellen Survey Bantam A team lost to Winchester by a score of 7-4 with goals by Stephen Case and Noah Mellen. Kaleb Allen was the playmaker, with 3 assists.

Hillsboro Ford Lady Huskies 8 - Dover 2
The Hillsboro Ford Lady Huskies prevailed 8 - 2 over Dover in U-14 Baystate League play. Morgan Seney led the scoring with her first hat trick for the Lady Huskies, with two assists coming from Brianna Blaine. Adding to the final tally were goals scored by Kayleigh Costello, Kelsey Muller, Molly Blaine, Zile Jones and Kyleigh Joseph. Goalie Megan McCosh played a strong game in net, facing nine shots. Good defensive play from Annele Jones and Lori Baldessera.

Henniker American Guardian Septic Mite A 10 - Twin Valley 0
Shayne Cashin's first of two goals from an end to end rush started things off for the American Guardian Septic Henniker Mite A team as they beat Twin Valley 10-0. Goaltender Jacob Cordeiro earned the shutout. Luke Sheils, Keith Galli, Dylan Schlange and Alex Von Svoboda also scored goals for Henniker.

Henniker American Guardian Septic Mite A 10 - Littleton 1
The American Guardian Septic Henniker Mite A Team defeated Littleton 10-1. Garrett Thomas celebrated his birthday by scoring his first goal of the season. Also scoring goals for Henniker were Corey Kasiaras, Garrett Houghton, Tyler Raczkowski, Kenny Thomas, and Daniel Medvetz.

Henniker Huskies Mite B White 7 - Tri-Town 7
The Henniker Huskies Mite B White Team suffered a loss against Tri-Town 7-1. The only goal was put in by Leah Rheault, assisted by Derek Drouin. The team struggled a bit but great defense was turned in by Charlie Califf, Derek Drouin, and Justin Zilling. Daniel Egner had 15 saves on the day.

The ARCOMM Communication Henniker Huskies recorded their first shutout of the season as they defeated Methuen 3 to 0. Parker Wheeler held Methuen scoreless by stopping all 15 shots on goal. Nathan Philbrick recorded a hat trick by scoring all of Henniker's 3 goals.

The ARCOMM Communication Henniker Huskies skated strong against the Valley Select team in Lawrence in an early morning game. The Huskies out shot Valley Select 25 to 19. The Huskies came away with a 1 to 1 tie on the strength of Will Callif's goal in the third period. Sam Tucker played well on defense.

Henniker ARCOMM Communication Huskies Squirt A 4 - NH East 3
The ARCOMM Communication Henniker Huskies traveled to Exeter to face a strong NH East team. Henniker's scoring was provided by Shane Earley unassisted, Nathan Philbrick from Alex Houle, Will Callif from Saer Murray, and Hunter Joseph from Nathan Philbrick. Despite being out shot 39 to 10, all of the Huskies skated well and managed a thrilling 4 to 3 win over NH East.

The ARCOMM Communication Henniker Huskies skated to a 3 to 3 tie with the NH Junior Monarchs at Tri-Town Arena. Nathan Philbrick tallied two goals with one assist from Shane Earley. The defense added with Aidan Donovan scoring on a strong wrist shot from the point. Luke Roever played a strong defensive game as well.

Henniker ARCOMM Communication Huskies Squirt A 1 - Nashua 8
The ARCOMM Communication Henniker Huskies came off their four game unbeaten streak with high expectations against Nashua. The heavy schedule took its toll as the Huskies ran out of gas and could only muster 7 shots on goal. Shane Earley provided the only score on an assist from Nathan Philbrick. Nick Kasiaras was strong defensively. Parker Wheeler stopped 31 of 39 shots in the Huskies 8 to 1 loss.

The American Guardian Septic Henniker Mite A hockey team beat White Mountain 3-1. Jacob Cordeiro, usually tending goal, scored his first Goal of the season to tie the score 1-1. Keith Galli added the next two goals. Shayne Cashin played well on defense.

Kenda Barrasso came out skating and scored in the first minute of play as the Henniker American Guardian Mite A team defeated Littleton 13-0. Zach Storro had the hat trick. Daniel Medvetz and Hunter Goss also scored. Goaltender Garrett Houghton earned the shutout.

Henniker ARCOMM Communication Squirt A 0 - Lakes Region 5
The ARCOMM Communication Henniker Huskies fought hard at home against Lakes Region. Will Callif was awarded the game puck for his strong offensive play. Despite the Huskies strong effort, they were out shot 33 to 10, and were ultimately shutout by a score of 5 to 0 by the Lakers.

Henniker ARCOMM Communication Squirt A 1 - Kearsarge 10
The ARCOMM Communication Henniker Huskies traveled to Proctor Academy to face Kearsarge. The Huskies were again out shot 41 to 11 by a strong Kearsarge team. The Huskies were able to prevent a shutout with a nice third period goal by Nathan Philbrick on a feed from Shane Earley, but fell to Kearsarge by a score of 10 to 1.

Henniker North Branch Construction Squirt B 0 - Hanover House Team Flames 11
The Henniker North Branch Construction Squirt B team played the Hanover House Team Flames on Saturday and lost a hard fought game 11-0. Jim Larson played a great game in net for the huskies and Gunnar Mose put together a strong offensive push challenging the Hanover goalie. Tom Palangas also had a strong game for the huskies making some key defensive plays.

Henniker North Branch Construction Squirt B 0 - Kearsarge Squirts 13
The Henniker North Branch Construction Squirt B team played the Kearsarge Squirts on Sunday and lost a heartbreaker 13-0. Bret Fouliard was all over the ice for the Huskies and played "heads up" hockey all game. Simon Hunter also gave his all and moved the puck well putting us into position to score on a few of occasions. Robert Wimpory played a hard-nosed game and made some great plays almost resulting in goals as well.

Henniker Earley & Sons Forest Management Peewee A 0 - Hanover 6
The Earley & Sons Forest Management Henniker Huskies fell to Hanover 6-0 in a hard fought Granite State Peewee game at St. Anslem College. Alex Butterworth played outstanding defense for the Huskies, while Joe Merrow lead the offense with his all out hustle. Sam Daley was huge in goal.

The Edmunds Ace Hardware Henniker Huskies Mite B red team played in the January thaw tournament, finishing 4th. The team played strong hockey both offensively and defensively. Gianna Pezzulo was amazing in net. Both Shea Coleman and Johnny Goldrick scored their first goals of the season. Colton McAllister, Cooper Bourque and Charlie Calif had strong showings in all the games.

The Henniker Huskies Mite B White Team took a tough loss to Vermont Academy 9-8. Two Hat Tricks scored in the game by Jenna Rheault and Leah Rheault. The other two goals went to Chelsea Lane. The greatest game of the year to date turned in by Shane Bradley and Andre St Laurent. Great efforts was put in by the whole team.

An eight player Henniker American Guardian Septic Mite A team lost to Lebanon 4-3. After being behind 4-0, Henniker rallied back in the third period with 3 goals scored by Keith Galli assisted by Corey Kasiaras. Luke Sheils and Colton Mcallister played well for Henniker. Net minder Cooper Bourque was outstanding in goal keeping Henniker in the game with 16 saves.

Great playing turned in by Zach Storro who came up from the Red Team to give us a hand. Great goaltending turned out by Cameron Montebianchi who had 15 saves and was just outstanding in net.

Henniker's Mellen Survey Bantam A Team closed out 2003 with a 6-5 Valley League win over Winchester. Evan Stenberg scored Henniker's first goal, tying the score at 1-1 at the end of the first period. Danny Fougere played his best game, netting two goals and an assist. Captain Noah Mellen had a hat trick, including the game winning goal, scored with one second remaining on the clock. John Lineberry and Matt Lennon were playmakers, with 3 assists each.

Henniker Youth Hockey's Mellen Survey Bantam A Team had a clean sweep in Valley league games this weekend. They defeated Billerica 8-1 with goals by Max Murray, Matt Lennon, Noah Mellen (2), John Lineberry (2), Kevin Ray, Jacob Noyes and assists by Mellen, Lennon, Kaleb Allen, Danny Fougere, and Stephen Case (2). They continued the trend defeating Reading with a score of 4-2 with goals by Case (2), Billy Milsop, and Lennon and assists by Lennon (2) and Allen. They completed the triad of wins with a score of 7-5 over Medford with scoring by Fougere, Lineberry, Mellen, Case (2), Ray and Allen. Case, Zach Roever, Joseph Getts, Zintis Jones (2), Noyes(2), Mellen, Lineberry, and goaltender, Carson McDonough, all had assists.

Henniker Mellen Survey Bantam A 0 - Manchester Monarchs 7
Mellen Survey was defeated by the aggressive Monarch 2 team in Granite State play with a score of 7-0. Carson McDonough was strong in the net, stopping 28 shots.

ARCOMM Communication Henniker Huskies Squirt A 1 - Newton Tiger 2

The ARCOMM Communication Henniker Huskies finished Christmas week off by participating in the Dunlap Invitational Tournament at Proctor Academy. Unfortunately Santa did not assist the ARCOMM Huskies as they were unable to notch a win in the tournament. In the Saturday morning game the ARCOMM Huskies were man handled by a much larger and stronger Kearsage team. Shane Earley provided the assist to Nathan Philbrick on the only goal for the Huskies in their 11 to 1 loss.

The ARCOMM Huskies faced off against Lebanon in the Saturday afternoon game. Parker Wheeler stopped 14 shots on goal in a terrific first period and finished with 26 saves. Aidan Donovan provided strong defense throughout the game. Shane Earley's lone goal in the second period was not enough for the Huskies as they were out shot by Lebanon 30 to 8 in their 4 to 1 loss.

In the consolation game on Sunday the ARCOMM Huskies met the Newton Tigers. All of the ARCOMM Huskies played an excellent game with especially strong defensive play from Sam Tucker and Nick Kasiaras. Nathan Philbrick assisted on the lone goal by Shane Earley for the Huskies in their 2 to 1 loss to the Tigers. All of the ARCOMM Huskies proudly displayed the medals that were presented at the end of the tournament.

Garrett Thomas and Garrett Houghton skated hard on offense with Shayne Cashin and Hunter Goss playing well on defense.

The Henniker American Guardian Septic Mite A team defeated Rochester 4-1. Dylan Schlange's goal in the first period, on an assist by Cory Kasiaras, got things going for Henniker. Schlange then assisted Alex Von Svoboda on the eventual game-winning goal. Keith Galli had a goal and assisted on the final goal, which was scored by Garrett Houghton.

The Henniker Huskies Mite B White team had a tough loss against Concord 7-0. Outstanding performances were put in by Daniel Egner and Chelsea Lane both offensively and defensively, leading the team in play. Thanks to the players who came up from the red team who also turned out with great performances Colton Mcallister, Zach Storo, and Cooper Bourque in goal.

The Henniker Huskies Mite B White team played a great game against Keene before losing 6-1. Derek Drouin had the loan goal. Outstanding goaltending was put in by Miles Egner with 20 saves. Shane Bradley played great defensively in front of the net. Great offensive performance was turned out by Daniel Egner and Chelsea Lane.

The Edmunds Ace Hardware Mite B Red Team beat Concord 6-1. Johnny Goldrick provided pressure on offense. Shea Coleman played well and gave 2 assists. Kenny Thomas broke up several plays with a strong showing in defense. In her first appearance in goal, Gianna Pezzulo proved to be a brick wall stopping all but one of the many shots. Cooper Bourque scored his first goal of the season, Tyler Raczkowski and Zack Storro continued to be offensive threats adding a hat trick and two goals respectively. The coaches were very proud with the perfomance of all their players.

Zack Edge put in a strong offensive push challenging the Manchester goalie. Anthony Pezzulo also had a strong game for the Huskies, making some key defensive plays.

The Edmund's Ace Hardware Henniker Huskies Mite B red team was hungry for a win on Saturday against Hanover. Tyler Raczkowski scored his second hat-trick of the season. Zach Storro kept his record going with having scored a goal in every game the team has played this season. Both Kenny Thomas and Gianna Pezzulo assisted in scoring goals. The team as a whole worked hard, played a great game and emerged victorious over Hanover 4-2.

The American Guardian Septic Henniker Mite A team defeated Back Bay 3 - 2. Keith Galli scored two goals in the first period. Back Bay started to come back in this hard fought battle, but Luke Sheils' game winning goal put the icing on the cake. Net minder Jacob Cordeiro put in another strong performance in goal.

Dylan Schlange, with two goals and an assist, lead the Henniker American Guardian Septic Mite A team to a 3-1 win over Lebanon. Alex Svoboda scored the game-winning goal in the third period. Hard charging winger Corey Kasiaras, along with Kendra Barrasso's solid defensive work at the point, kept the pressure on the Lebanon Goalie throughout the game.

Henniker ARCOMM Communication Squirt A 4 - NH East Eagles 1
The ARCOMM Communication Henniker Huskies played their first home game at New England College against the NH East Eagles. The Huskies started slow in the first period as the Eagles jumped out to a 4 to 0 lead. The Huskies tallied one goal in the second on short handed goal by Alex Houle. The Huskies held the Eagles scoreless in the second and third periods with the solid defensive play of Sam Tucker and 28 saves by Parker Wheeler. Despite the strong offensive performance of Will Callif the Huskies were unable to pierce the Eagle net again finishing on the short end of a 4 to 1 score.

Henniker ARCOMM Communication Squirt A 4 - NH Junior Bruins 1
The ARCOMM Communication Henniker Huskies traveled to Nashua face the NH Junior Bruins. The Huskies came out strong in the first with aggressive offense by Will Callif. Shane Earley and Nathan Philbrick scored one goal each. The solid defensive play in the first period by Aidan Donovan, Sam Tucker, Luke Roever, and Nick Kasiaras held the Bruins to only two shots on goal. The Bruins were more aggressive in the second and third periods finally sneaking the puck between the legs of Parker Wheeler for their only goal. Alex Houle, Sam Tucker, and Saer Murray each provided an assist as Shane Earley added two more goals in the third to complete his hat-trick and seal the Huskies 4 to 1 victory.

Hillsboro Ford Henniker Lady Huskies 6 - Lady Monarchs U-12 2
The Hillsboro Ford Henniker Lady Huskies downed the Lady Monarchs U-12 team 6-2. Molly Blaine and Kaliegh Costello both scored two goals. Brianna Blaine and Kelsey Muller both had a goal and an assist. Annele Jones and Zile Jones had strong games in defense.

The Lady Huskies prevailed in a close game with the Nighthawks, 2-1. Kelsey Muller led Henniker with a goal and an assist. Morgan Seney scored the game winner for Henniker. Allison Arnieri and Hillari Naeck led the defense and Megan McCosh played well in net.

Hillsboro Ford Henniker Lady Huskies 8 - Hanover U-16 2
The Lady Huskies capped the weekend with an 8-2 victory over the Hanover U-16 team. Kelsey Muller recorded a hat-trick and Brianna Blaine earned a playmaker by assisting on three goals. Morgan Seney had two goals and an assist, and Glenna LeDoux had two goals. Kyleigh Joseph had one goal and an assist and Claire Ficaro had an assist.

Mellen Survey held on to a 5-4 victory against the U-19 Select Women's Team Sunday despite the "no checking" rule, with goals by Noah Mellen, Matt Lennon, and Danny Fougere. Kevin Ray, Matt Lennon, Steve Case, and Dan Fougere all had assists.

The Henniker American Guardian Septic Mite A team came out skating with Keith Galli scoring in the first 30 seconds of the game. Alex Von Svoboda added a goal for a 2-0 lead. Henniker, even with the hard charging Luke Sheils and Garrett Thomas, could not hold back the Avalanche as they lost 2-3. Thomas and Garrett Houghton had assists.

Henniker American Guardian Septic Mite A 3 - Jr. Monarchs 1
The American Guardian Septic Mite A beat the Jr. Monarchs 3-1. Henniker had a slight advantage with its 9 players to the Monarch's tireless 6 players. The Jr. Monarch's scored first early in the second period but Henniker came right back and tied the score 1-1 with Keith Galli's first of two goals. After that it was all Henniker with offensive defenseman Daniel Medvetz adding a goal and had an assist. Goalie Jacob Codeiro was outstanding in the net as he turned back 13 shots.

The Edmunds Ace Hardware Henniker Mite B Red Team fell to Concord 5-2. An overall team effort was put in. Zack Storro showed some artful stick-work to start the Henniker goals. Tyler Raczkowski scored with an assist from Kyle Kolehmainen, who turned out a strong performance all over the ice. Cooper Bourque and goalkeeper Colton McAllister kept the score close with stellar performances.

Henniker Mite B White Huskies Took a loss today 7-0 against Concord. Great defensive efforts turned in by Alex Miller and Andre St.Laurent. Daniel Egner played a great role in trying to get an offensive strike going.

ARCOMM Communication Henniker Huskies 0 - Avalanche 7
On Saturday the 6th, the ARCOMM Communication Henniker Huskies visited the Ice Den in Hooksett to face the Avalanche. The Huskies came out strong at the beginning of the first period, but two quick goals by the Avalanche put the Huskies back on their heels. Despite strong defensive play by Aidan Donovan, the Huskies never regained their composure until late in the third period when they were able to put some pressure on the Avalanche net. The Huskies could not penetrate the net and were handed a 7 to 0 shutout by the Avalanche.

ARCOMM Communication Henniker Huskies 2 - North Andover 1
The ARCOMM Communication Henniker Huskies dug themselves out of the deep snow on Sunday the 7th to travel to Nashua to face off against North Andover. Hunter Joseph made several strong drives in to the offensive zone for the Huskies, but was held scoreless. Alex Houle and Nathan Philbrick each notched two assists as they fed the puck to Shane Earley for his two goals. Parker Wheeler was able to make the two Husky goals stand as he stopped 30 of North Andover's 31 shots to seal the Huskies 2 to 1 win.

Henniker Youth Hockey's Mellen Survey Bantam A Team earned its first win in Granite State play, bringing its record to 1-1-2. Kevin Ray intitiated the scoring against Back Bay with a goal in the first period. He also assisted defenseman, Zintis Jones' second period goal. Assistant Captain Stephen Case secured the win with a hat trick. Captain Noah Mellen was the game's playmaker, assisting the first three goals. Carson McDonough was solid in the net. The final score was 5-3.

Henniker battled back several times to tie the game, but Concord scored three unanswered goals in the third period for the win. Keith Galli scored the hat trick with assists from Garrett Houghton and Kendra Barrasso. Rushing defenseman Shayne Cashin and Dylan Schlange scored one goal each.

In spite of the score and the shots on goal, the ARCOMM Huskies played a strong game narrowly missing several scoring opportunities. Strong performances were turned in by Shane Earley on offense, as well as Aidan Donovan and Nick Kasiaras on defense.

The ARCOMM Communication Henniker Huskies then traveled to the Cheshire Arena to face Keene. Shane Earley tallied the lone ARCOMM Husky goal in their 9-1 loss. Saer Murray, Aidan Donovan, and Nick Kasiaras had a strong outing for the Huskies despite the loss.

Henniker North Branch Construction Squirt B 0 - Hanover 6
The North Branch Construction Henniker Squirt B team was defeated by Hanover 6 - 0. Robert Whimpory played his first game in net for the Huskies and made some great stops. Gunner Mose also had a great game and put in a valiant effort with solid defense and offensive prowess. Zack Edge also played a strong game for the Huskies at Center.

Henniker North Branch Construction Squirt B 1 - Hanover 6
The North Branch Construction Henniker Squirt B team played a second game against Hanover and was defeated 6 - 1. Camaron Carter scored the first goal of the season for the Huskies and played a solid game. Mason Ellis was strong on the blue line for Henniker and hustled all game. Jim Larson also had a solid game on the blue line and chipped in on offense helping Henniker to notch our first goal.

Hillsboro Ford Henniker Lady Huskies 4 - Nighthawks U-14 2
The Hillsboro Ford Henniker Lady Huskies prevailed over the Nighthawks U-14, 4-2. Kyleigh Joseph led Henniker with 2 goals and an assist. Kelsey Muller had a goal and an assist, and Morgan Seney also scored for the Huskies. Molly Blaine and Lori Baldaserra played well on defense.

Henniker Huskies/Earley & Sons Forrest Management Pee Wee 7 - Medford 5
The Henniker Huskies/Earley & Sons Forrest Management Pee Wee team defeated Medford 7-5. Sam Daley Stopped 25 shots in goal. AJ Gurney scored a Hat Trick. Ian Murray scored twice and Jared Donohue also scored. Ryan White had three assist and Matt Cann was strong on defense.

Henniker American Guardian Septic Mite A 7 - Back Bay 0
Garrett Houghton's two goals got things flowing for the Henniker American Guardian Septic Mite A team as they defeated Back Bay 7-0. Goalie Jacob Cordeiro earned his first shutout with Kendra Barrasso backing him up by providing a solid defense. Alex Von Svoboda and Keith Galli had two goals each. Dylan Schlange scored once.

Henniker American Guardian Septic Mite A 8 - Twin Valley 0
American Guardian Septic Henniker Mite A beat Twin Valley 8-0. Keith Galli, Alex Von Svoboda and Dylan Schlange had two goals apiece. Hunter Goss and Garrett Houghton each scored a goal and an assist. Galli had three assists with Garrett Thomas and Cory Kasiaras also getting assists.

Edmund's Ace Hardware Henniker Huskies Mite B Red 8 - Henniker Huskies Mite B White 4
The Edmund's Ace Hardware Henniker Huskies Mite B Red team emerged triumphant in their second game of the season against the Henniker Huskies Mite B White team, winning 8-4. Tyler Raczkowski lead the team with 4 goals, Colton McAllister scored his first goal of the season. Alex Olson, in his first appearance as goaltender, made some great saves. Kyle Kohlemainen and the rest of the team worked well together to snag their first win of the season.

ARCOMM Communication Henniker Huskies Squirt A 1 - Dover 4
The ARCOMM Communication Henniker Huskies played well this past weekend, but came up short in both games. Saturday they played a close game against the Dover team at the Dover Arena. Parker Wheeler turned away 37 out of 41 shots on goal. Nathan Philbrick contributed with an assist on the Huskies lone goal scored by Alex Houle in the 4 to 1 loss to Dover.

ARCOMM Communication Henniker Huskies Squirt A 1 - Salem 9
On Sunday the ARCOMM Communication Huskies traveled to Salem to face a strong Salem team. The Huskies scored early on a nice pass from Saer Murray to Shane Earley. They had several more close opportunities to score thanks to strong defensive play by Aidan Donovan and aggressive offense by Saer Murray, but the Huskies were only able to find the net once in their 9-1 loss to Salem.

Henniker Huskies High-Forest Pee Wee 1 - Keene 1
The Henniker Huskies High-Forest Pee Wee's skated to a 1-1 tie with Keene in Granite State play. Henniker drew first blood with a goal from Peter Medvetz assisted by his two line mates, Cody Cawthron and Nick Badaracco. Keene battled back to tie with one in the 2nd period, despite strong back checking by Laurel Bauer and Mike Larson. Greg Warner played an outstanding game in front of the net and almost scored twice. Christopher Medvetz and Dan Mulcahey turned in a physically crunching game on defense and Ian Freeman came up with some big saves late in the game, helped defensively by Amanda and Dylan Payea.

Henniker Huskies High-Forest Pee Wee 2 - Methuen 1
In the High-Forest Pee Wee's Valley League appearance, the Huskies finally defeated the Methuen Pee Wee's in an emotional outing at Methuen High School. Both teams scored goals in the first period. The Huskies' Cody Cawthron lit the lamp, assisted by line mate Peter Medvetz. Peter Medvetz fired in the hard wrist shot assisted by Nick Badaracco, to put the Huskies on top and they carried that lead late into the 3rd. Physical defense from Amanda and Dylan Payea along with hard-nosed play from Dan Mulcahey and Christopher Medvetz, snuffed most of the Methuen opportunities out. Ian Freeman had his best game to date. Cam Stewart came close on a breakaway.

Henniker American Guardian Septic Mite A 0 - Avalanche 3
The Henniker American Guardian Septic Mite A team came up with their tank empty as they fell to the Avalanche 3-0. Goaltender Jacob Cordeiro turned back breakaways and had 18 saves. Even with the hustle of Dylan Schlange and Daniel Medvetz, Henniker could not connect on several scoring opportunities. Hunter Goss played well on defense.

Edmunds Ace Hardware Henniker Huskies Mite B 1 - Lakes Region 7
The Edmunds Ace Hardware Henniker Huskies Mite B Red team played its first game against Lakes Region. This young team made a valiant effort, falling short 7-1. Cooper "The Sponge" Bourque absorbed 18 shots on net, while Zack Storro scored the lone goal with help from his team mates and their "never quit" attitudes. Gianna Pezzulo and Shea Coleman, along with the rest of the team, were fearless at both ends of the ice.

ARCOMM Communication Henniker Squirt A 0 - Nashua 8
On Sunday November 9th the ARCOMM Communication Henniker Squirt A team traveled to Nashua to face a very strong Nashua team. Nashua came out very strong in the first period scoring twice and out shooting Henniker 13 to 0. The Huskies proved to be more aggressive in the second and third period, but were held scoreless on 7 shots while Nashua netted 6 more goals. Parker Wheeler stopped 29 of 37 shots in net, while Shane Earley earned the game puck for his aggressive offense in the second and third periods in route to their 8-0 loss to Nashua.

Henniker Bantam A win "Friends Of New England College" Hockey Tournament
The Henniker Huskie Bantam A team participated, and won the "Friends Of New England College" hockey tournament this past weekend. The results of the games were as follows:

Game1- Huskies 2- Hollis 0
Game 2- Huskies 6- Lebanon 0
Game 3- Huskies 3 - Manchester 2
Game 4- (Championship Game) - Huskies 2 - Manchester 0

That is an outstanding goals against average of .50 per game. To name any individual players for their performance would not be right as every single player stepped up and played awesome.Congratulations to Kaleb Allen, Jeff Cann, Steve Case,Dan Fougere,Joseph Getts, Zintis Jones, Matt Lennon, John Lineberry, Carson McDonough, Noah Mellen, Billy Milsop, Max Murray, Jacob Noyes, Kevin Ray and Zach Roever. Well done Huskies!

Results for November 1 - November 2, 2003

North Branch Construction Squirt B 0 - Dover 6
Nate Kimball-Barr played his first game in goal and really made some awesome saves. Jordan Vogt played fantastic defense and was a true team player. Even though Dover won 6 to 0, the North Branch Construction Squirt B Huskies played a great game considering it was their first of the year. We look forward to hitting the ice again.

Henniker Bantam A 5 - Avalanche 5
The Henniker Bantam A team played their first Granite State League game on Sunday against the Avalanche. Henniker was down 5-2 with just over 3 minutes left in the game when they started to mount a comeback. They scored 3 goals in the last 3 minutes to come away with a tie. The Henniker goal scorers were, Steve Case with 3, Zintis Jones with 1 and Matt Lennon with the tying goal with just over 1 minute remaining on the clock. All of the players played with heart and they showed their true character in this hard played hockey game.

Henniker Lady Huskies 0 - Lebanon U-14 2
The Henniker Lady Huskies came up short against the Lebanon U-14 team 0-2 on Saturday. Megan McCosh had a strong game in net for Henniker. Morgan Seney and Brianna Blaine had good games on offense and Tori Gamache and Claire Fecaro anchored the defense.

Henniker Lady Huskies 3 - Charles River Squirt Blue 1
The Lady Huskies prevailed over the Charles River Squirt Blue team 3-1. Kyliegh Joseph led Henniker with two goals and an assist. Kelsey Muller had one goal and an assist, and Annele Jones had an assist. Zile Jones and Allison Arnieri skated well for the Huskies in this game.

Henniker High-Forest PeeWee Red 5 - Rochester 3
In their first Granite State league outing, the Henniker High-Forest PeeWee Red Team tallied a 5-3 victory over Rochester on Rochester’s home ice. Scoring started early as Peter Medvetz fired in a shot close in, assisted by his brother Christopher. These two combined for the fifth goal as well with Christopher firing the wrister assisted by Peter. Cam Stewart and Dan Mulcahey also had assists with Mike Larson potting one goal and Nick Badaracco tallying two goals. Dylan and Amanda Payea played a strong game as did Laurel Bauer. Ian Freeman was nearly unbeatable in net.

American Guardian Septic Henniker Mite A 3 - Concord 3
The American Guardian Septic Henniker Mite A team tied Concord 3-3 in a real back and forth battle. Henniker pulled Goalie Jacob Cordeiro in the last minute of play to tie the game. Keith Galli scored twice and Alex Von Svoboda scored once. Cordeiro played well turning back 20 shots.

American Guardian Septic Henniker Mite A 2 - Laconia Lakers 2
Henniker American Guardian Septic Mite A team fell behind early in the first period against the Laconia Lakers. Henniker came back with Keith Galli scoring a Power Play goal assisted by Corey Kasiaras. Shayne Cashin played well on defense and assisted on Galli's second goal. This was not enough as Laconia was able to tie the game 2-2. Rookie right wing Garrett Thomas had an assist on the tying goal in both games this weekend.
