Squirt team brings home the hardware!

The Edmund's Ace Hardware Henniker Huskies Squirt team came away champions this past weekend in their state finals. 

Friday night the Huskies faced 6th place Kearsarge.  The Huskies skated hard and came out victorious in that match up 4-3.

Saturday afternoon they faced Concord.  The Huskies came on strong and once they gathered their momentum they just kept going.  Final score Huskies 9 Concord 4.

Sunday morning brought the semi-final game.  Henniker vs. Nashua.  With all the momentum of the previous days the Huskies poured it on.  Knocking Nashua out with a 7-1 victory.

Sunday afternoon's championship game would be a rematch from Friday night.  Henniker vs. Kearsarge.  Henniker quickly got on the board and there was no looking back.  They pulled off the 6-1 victory to bring home the state championship trophy!

A great effort by all involved.  Congratulations to Cameron Bishop, Jake Boucher, Cameron Bourque, Jameson Bourque, Jon Doss, Patrick Earley, Ryan Mitchell, Aidan Molnar, Bridget Pope, Tim Sawitsky and Christopher Schnyer.
